The £10 million Go>Grow programme delivers fully funded training to North East based businesses who want to develop their workforce to strengthen and grow their businesses. Go>Grow is supported by the European Social Fund. This fully funded training is delivered through a partnership of colleges, training providers and specialists in business support.

Are you a small business owner?

If you are a business owner or self-employed the Go>Grow programme can support you to develop your skills or the skills of your staff to grow your business making it more profitable and more productive.

There is a wide range of training opportunities from business skills including marketing, use of social media and SEO, sales, customer service and finance through to more practical skills such as welding, forklift driving and Health and Safety as well as a range of other offers in between.

Do I Qualify?

  • If you’re a business you must have a base in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear or County Durham.
  • If you’re self-employed, a sole trader or a micro business you can also get support.
  • Employees must be over 16 but there is no limit on the number of staff that can get access this programme.

How do I get involved?

If you are a small or medium sized business the first step is to complete our Training Needs Analysis to help us work out which courses will be most beneficial for you – it shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes. We’ll then give you a call and arrange to get the paperwork signed to confirm your registration.
