Half day mentor training programmes leading to a SFEDI award

If you are interested in providing business mentoring and want to develop the skills you need to help you to take up the role then we may just have the answer.

Working in partnership with CDC, NBSL are pleased to offer half day mentor training sessions that can lead to a SFEDI award.  These sessions are all fully funded but places are limited.

As the training is being provided at no charge, each mentor must agree to provide 24 hours free mentoring support in a 24 month period, this could be provided in any format i.e. face to face support, telephone support, 1 hour per month over 24 months or 4 hours per month over 6 months……

Don’t worry about finding clients as we have lots of NEA clients who would benefit from the support of a mentor and will work hard to match client and mentor, this work is unpaid so we appreciate that the amount of time people can give is limited.

The next training sessions will be taking place at Morpeth Business Advice Centre on Thursday 1st March, please find below more information on the sessions:

Morning session

9.15 Coffee and completion of mentor registration forms
9.30 Training starts - delivered by CDC
12.30 Training finishes

Afternoon session

13.15 Coffee and completion of mentor registration forms
13.30 Training starts - delivered by CDC
16.30 Training finishes

Places are limited to 12 at each session and places will be reserved on a first come first served basis.
