NBSL are pleased to announce that we have received £6,000,000 to deliver the North East Business Support Fund for the next two years. OVER 3,000 businesses will receive financial help to bring in external expertise to grow their business helping increase economic growth in the North East.
The North East Business Support Fund (successor to our previous Leadership and Management Advisory Service) provides tailored support, including advice and funding for eligible SMEs and social enterprises that have potential for growth and are based in North East England. The service (funded by ERDF) provides grant support giving businesses a fantastic opportunity to access specialist help, to develop the growth and profitability of their organisations.
Not everyone has happy memories of their school days, but going back to school to deliver a session about self-employment on ‘Life Skills day’ at Prudhoe Community High School in Northumberland was a stimulating and enjoyable experience for Julia Weldon, NBSL’s Business Adviser based at the Hexham Business Advice Centre.
